Vetting procedure

It is Takethon.com mission to let the world see your art.

We want our site to be available to everyone from 5 to 105 without fear of being corrupted or offended.

Having declared that, we at Takethon.com appreciate that being “offended” is extremely difficult to define and to a larger extent is a very personal state. So we have to define it as what we at Takethon.com regard as “offensive”, which in very broad terms, we define as “pornographic”.

Procedure – All membership classes including clients using our FTP account

All photographs are uploaded to an independent web site and database. For single photograph usually within 24 hours (not guaranteed ) the photograph together with the accompanying data will be viewed by a Takethon.com staff member. They will either approve or reject the contents on the grounds that they consider the photograph or the accompanying text offensive. Either way you shall receive an Email advising you of our decision.

If the photograph and accompanying text is approved then your work will be placed on our public website during our nightly regular update.

If the photograph and accompanying text is not approved then your work will be moved to a separate ‘Not approved” database and remain there for one month. You can appeal our decision by writing to contact@takethon.com at which point the picture editor will take a look at the photograph and accompanying text. Takethon.com will advise you of their decision within 3 days which will be final.

If the decision is still “not approved” and membership has been paid against this photograph then you will be asked to either load another photograph or change the accompany text or request a full refund.

Please be advised that any photograph considered to be child pornography will be forwarded to your countries Child Protection Agency or equal, together with you registration information. The photograph will be immediately deleted from our database.

Report a picture, which you believe is offensive:

Any unauthorised advertisements either on the photograph or with the accompaning text may result in the photograph not being approved.
